On the eve of Festivus, Humble Bundle gave to me…..

It’s Christmas eve! You know what that means! Getting plastered to forget the failure you have become in the eyes of friends and family! Wait. Where’s my eggnog? They took my eggnog away….. DON’T HIDE THE EGGNOG FROM ME! I DON’T HAVE A PROBLEM! YOU HAVE A PROBLEM! AHHHHHHHHH! *Trips over overturned Santa statue and dies*
Now my ghost will finish this Bundle, once and for all!
Flux8 (6.99)– A funny little puzzle platformer where you play as a magnetized stack of cubes trying to escape from a hazard workplace. The catch here is that there’s these beams that reverse and inverse your polarity, pushing you to and fro all over the place. Despite it’s simple premise, I enjoyed what I played so far. Another solid entry! Comes with a level editor and Steam Workshop support, which is definitely a plus!
Wizorb (2.99)– Hey look- a retro inspired game, that actually looks- and plays- like a retro game! Wizorb is pretty much Arkanoid / Breakout. However, there are a few twists that set it apart from it’s inspirations, including magical spells (like a fireball that destroys blocks) and even an RPG like hub world where you can use your gold to rebuild a village. It has some nice pixel art that actually looks like a 16-bit game (you’d be surprised on how many games fail to do this and claim to be “retro”) A nice game! Even better- the game is on sell for a measly 98 cents, so if you didn’t get the bundle, you can get it for cheap!
FINAL VERDICT– Your’re going to find it shocking, but I give today a solid 3/5. Yes, two simple games that I found much enjoyment out of and will be revisiting sometime in the future. Now if you can excuse me, my door knocker became a ghost. *grabs bat* I ain’t getting scrooged!
