On the 20th day of Festivus, Humble Bundle gave to me…..
Only 5 days until Christmas! Oh boy! I try not to dread the incoming expanse of nothing coming my way! In the mean time- more games!
VoidExpanse (14.99)– A noble and ambitious attempt at an open-world space game. Has a lot of different mechanics and what not, and on first glance, seems to be very complicated. I’ll have to dive into this one- there so much going on, that I can’t really form an opinion after playing just one time.
Super Steampunk Pinball 2D (2.99)– A simple pinball game that is exactly what you expect from the title- a steampunk themed pinball game! Everything works like it’s supposed to, and though a bit basic, it works. Not bad! Only real gripe is the NES soundtrack- it does not mesh well with the visuals, though the tracks themselves are well put together.
FINAL VERDICT– Eh. It’s alright. I feel like today is a 2/5 kind of day. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing spectacular either. An alright day (even though, yes- 2/5 looks low….but it sure beats DLC for F2P games, like last year!)
