On the 10th day of Festivus, Humble Bundle gave to me…..
Today was a nice surprise- pretty much every entry in a little-known game series called “Anomaly”! This is very interesting, and as my favorite podcasters would say, “Very cool. Very Very cool.”
Since all the games look similar, I’ll give my impressions of the first game of the series only, followed by the MSRP of each game in the series. I mean, it can’t be all too different, right?
Anomaly: Warzone Earth (9.99)– So, this is cool. Anomaly is like a reverse tower defense game- you have to lead your units to the end each map, hopefully without getting destroyed! The cool thing here is that you can walk around and pick up supplies and can even zoom out to a tactical view to change the course of your units and what not. A very interesting and novel idea, that’s executed with finesse! I can see myself playing more of this in the future! Good thing, too- as this bundle has given me a lot of it, including it’s sequel and various campaigns.

FINAL VERDICT– I think today was rather swell- I got an entire series worth of games- something I was definitely not expecting! I think I give today a solid 3/5!
