Yogscast Jingle Jam 2018- Day 7

Yogscast Jingle Jam 2018- Day 7

On the 7th day of Festivus, Humble Bundle gave to me…..

offering7
A 24.99 value

Boy, was today ever busy! Not only did I have to go to Utah to take care of…. um…. “business”, but the Smash brothers game came out as well! SPOILERS: The Melee community already hates it! Who didn’t see THAT coming? Oh, and we got a trailer for Avengers 4: Part 2: The Quest for More Money! HURK SMUSH!

Also, we got some more games in the bundle that aren’t repeats. Yea!

Don’t Stand Out (11.99)– A battle-royale game, but from a top down perspective. Just like most games in these bundles, almost no one is playing it. I played one match, and instantly got killed by another player who had a grenade. Yeah, I didn’t like it.

Space Pilgrim (1.99)– A RPG maker game, that’s not an RPG. Look, I’m not going to sugar coat this. RPG Maker games just feel cheap to me… and yes, sadly this is one that feels like one. I don’t know if any of the assets are reused or what, but some of the menus look like their weren’t changed around too much. One of the weaker entries of the bundle. Sorry. Also, it’s only the first part of a larger series. I think I know what this bundle holds for me in the future.

Sure Footing (9.99)– An endless runner where you run and jump. It was okay- deaths felt really cheap, though- especially since you can move your character left or right. It’s only okay.

FINAL VERDICT– Wow. After days of decent games, I think this bundle is starting to lose it’s steam. I think I only liked Sure Footing. The other two were just….. meh. I would say that they need to get better, but I have feeling that soon, we’ll really get something truly awful! You ain’t seen nothing yet! 2/5
