On the 6th day of Festivus, Humble Bundle gave to me…..
Finally! A day without repeats! We got three games today! Let’s see if they’re trash or treasure! Or something. I don’t know- I’m making this s@#t up as I go along.
Convoy (14.99)– An interesting game where you guide a convoy into a harsh landscape full of Mad Max esque factions. There are several random events and what not as you explore the landscape, searching for parts on for your ship. An intriguing mix of text based adventure games and strategy that I’ll defiantly look into!
Slime-San (14.99)– Yet another Super Meat Boy clone. However, this one is absolutely filled to the brim with features! Multiple Campaigns! Unlockable arcade games! A hub with shops and NPCS! Twitch functionality! Speedrun Timers! New Game +! And hey- the game itself isn’t half bad either! One of the more fully fledged SMB clones out there!
Westerado: Double Barreled (14.99)– A cool little wild west game that I can only describe as RDR in 2D. Yes, I know that’s a lazy comparison, but its true! You explore the wild west, looking for the murderer of you mother and brother. Reminds me a bit of the 2D Zelda games. Another game I can see myself playing in the near future!
FINAL VERDICT– I liked today’s offerings- not a bad game in the bunch (or so it seems) and best of all- no repeats! I’ll give today a 3/5! A solid day, all around!
