On the 3rd day of Festivus, Humble Bundle gave to me…..

Alright- this is actually shaping up to be a pretty decent bundle! We got a social game, a cool 16-bit esque twin stick shooter, and a platformer with a neat gimmick. Let’s see if there’re any good….
Throne of Lies (9.99)– I didn’t play this one, but it looked like a Town of Salem like game. I’m not a big fan of these games because you have to actually talk to other people, and you know me- I’m antisocial as f@#k!
Tower 57 (11.99)– The best game of the day, in my opinion! A great throwback to the 16-bit era twin stick shooters, reminding me of Total Carnage and even a little bit of Zombies ate my neighbors. It also boasts some gorgeous sprite work as well!
Unit 4 (14.99)– A kind of cool platformer where you can switch to 4 different characters on the fly, each with their own powers. A little lacking in the polish department (title screen and tutorial have no music!) and a bit rough, but could be worth a playthough.
FINAL VERDICT– Another day, and another decent set of games! I think 3 out of 5 is fitting- I was honestly expecting DLC for F2P games that I have no interest in- but I can already tell that we might actually get some…..
