On the twentysecond day of Christmas, Humble Bundle gave to me..
More games today, and no DLC. Hooray! However, it might as well be only two games- I’ll explain down below…
Getting right into it, we have Deep Dungeons of Doom, a simple little game where you have an attack button, a block button, two inventory slots- and thats about it! It’s dungeon crawling boiled down to its core- you go in dungeons, fight monsters using two buttons, and pick up loot now and then. It’s a strange little game, but it’s alright- might play more of it later!
The other playable game of given today is a strange puzzle game called V.E.X., where you take control of a person who has the ability to age at will. It’s a very strange game- one that looks quite interesting. I might also play more of this.
Finally, we have yet another disappointment of the bundle- Wasted Pizza. Wasted is exactly what I would call this game- it’s pretty much unplayable! You see, Wasted Pizza is online multiplayer only…. and of course, just like every other multiplayer game in this bundle, the game is pretty much dead! No rooms were up when I played it! Why put games in this bundle if you know they’re dead? The fact that is also Early Access, AND made it Unity doesn’t help either- I’m tired of defending Unity when all people do is make garbage with it!
Because of one of the games being dead on arrival, I am going to have to give today’s offering a 2.5 out of 5.
Now for a news update- I messed up the calculations! I did not take into account the soundtrack for each game, as some of them were “premium” OST (AKA soundtracks that you had to buy, not ones that are free). So now that I got that ironed out, the total so far for the last 22 days of the bundle now comes out to $564 and change. That means that there’s essentially $312 worth of content coming in the next 3 days… maybe. We’ll have to see about that. I’m still looking into the “true” value of this bundle.
