On the twentieth day of Christmas, Humble Bundle gave to me….

Yes- no DLC, once more! Today, we received three games- most of which were actually pretty good- judging my quick first impressions, that is!
First, we have The Fall, which looks like some sort of adventure title that interested me from the get-go with it’s dark and mysterious atmosphere and graphics. I actually heard good things about this game, so I’ll definitely be playing it!
Next we have the platfomer stealth hybrid, Master Spy. I also loved this game aesthetic from the get go- the sprite work is actually well done! The retro style of the game also helps- it’s a simple but fun stealth platformer that I will play in the future.
Finally, we have what I think was the weakest game of the bunch, a minimalist platformer called Lion Quest. It wasn’t terrible, persay, but it defiantly left a lot to be desired- I really felt like it was someone’s first game, and they thought it was good enough to be put on Steam. At least it’s not Bomb Defense- I’m working on a review for that pile of garbage!
All in all, I liked today’s offerings. I give today a solid 3 out of 5. All the games seemed to have their potential- yes, even Lion Quest!
What do you think? Is this Humble Bundle a good deal so far, or is it another disappointment? Sound off in the comments below! Or don’t. I’m fine either way…
