DAY 2
On the second day of Christmas, Humble Bundle gave to me:
A 4.99 value (For the game. Not sure about the book)
Today’s gifts were Defend Your Life and a book called Dark Future: Golgotha Run
A book. A BOOK. READING IS FOR NERDS! AHHHHHHHHHH!
Just kidding- I was only expecting one thing, but I got two, so I really can’t complain.
I just played Defend Your Life, and it’s a fun little distraction I suppose- its your run-of-the-mill tower defense game with a nice “war going on inside your body” theme that I like. I played better TD games and worse. All around, not bad!
The book also seemed alright- I only read the first few pages, but if your into a dark and gritty version of what our future might look like, then you might like it. I’m not much of reader, to be honest. I looked it up, and apparently it was actually written as a sort of prologue for an upcoming game. Not too bad for a video game tie-in, I suppose.
Out of 5, I would give today’s offerings a 3.
