Today, Humble Bundle has put out their annual Yogscast Jingle Jam bundle. Even though last year’s bundle wasn’t that good (or so I’ve heard- I saw some pretty good games in it) I went ahead and bought myself one anyway.
“What is this Jingle Jam Whats-it?” You may ask yourself. Well, it’s simple- Every year, Yogscast puts on a huge stream for charity called Jingle Jam. For the last few years, they have been working with Humble Bundle to create a special bundle that runs December 1st to Christmas Day, with each new day being a new game! The best part- all proceeds from both the stream and the Humble Bundle go straight to charity!
This year’s bundle claims to have over $847 worth of content for a mere $35! Get your soon though, as apparently, quantities are limited- you could miss out on some premium games! And yes, you get all 25+ games- but only if you act now!
I am not associated with Humble Bundle or Yogscast, by the way. It’s just something “fun” I wanted to do while putting my money to a good cause. Who knows- I could of wasted 35$ on charity! Oh no! What a waste of money! Those starving African kids are so privileged- they don’t deserve any of MY hard-earned cash, that I totally didn’t embezzle! (That was sarcasm by the way!)
“So what does this have to do with this blog?” you may ask yourself again (Don’t worry- it’s said that geniuses like us talk to ourselves on a daily basis!) The answer to that is simple- I will take a look at each day’s offering, from today till Christmas Day, and let you know if that $35 is well spent, or if they could have done better. Doesn’t matter really- it’s all for charity. It’s kind of petty to say “That’s it?” in response to whatever the bundle may offer, especially when your helping out some good causes.

DAY 1
On the first day of Christmas, Humble Bundle gave to me:
Today with have Rust, Dungeon of the Endless, Qube, and Garry’s Mod. A strong start- If you don’t already have these in your library, that is! This bundle is going to be a crap shoot- but one that goes to a good cause, so like I said in the introduction- it would be petty of me to say otherwise.
OWNED:Garry’s Mod is the one I have the most experience with, and one that I think every one who has a steam account should have- it almost goes without saying.
I haven’t played Dungeon of the Endless, but it looks like a fun rouge-like (lite?) that I’ll defiantly play!
Haven’t played Q.U.B.E. either, but it looks like a pretty trippy “portal” clone. I’ll play this one too!
Of course, the creme de la creme of the bundle so far is Rust, which, sadly, does not run at a decent framerate on my toaster. Maybe one day I’ll upgrade to a toaster oven. One day…. Defiantly want to play it though.
So far, this bundle has had a strong opening, and is actually worth it now- but will it maintain it’s steam?
Oh god, I’m so sorry for that terrible pun- I didn’t even mean to say it! I guess I should just turn off the comedy Valve!

On a 1 to 5 scale, I would give today’s offering a 4!
